Ten Harriers Named All-Academic

Cardinal earns high academic praise following successful fall campaign

STANFORD, Calif. — Stanford cross country raked in its first off-the-course awards for the fall slate with 10 runners earning All-ACC Academic Team honors, the conference announced on Friday. 

Stanford tabbed six women and four men to the list following solid showings in its second season in the conference. Stanford placed fourth in the conference on the women’s side while a youthful contingency of Cardinal men placed seventh. 

To be eligible for this season's award, runners had to achieve a cumulative 3.0 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) as well as earn a 3.0 grade-point average in each semester/quarter of the previous academic year. Runners also had to compete in either the ACC or NCAA Championships.
