STANFORD, Calif. - Three Stanford student-athletes were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams, as announced by the coaches' association on Tuesday morning.
Will Cleary earned All-South Region First Team honors, while Fletcher Bank and Zach Bohane were each named to the All-South Region Second Team.
The first All-Region selection of Cleary's career, the senior captain led one of the toughest defensive units in the nation, tallying seven clean sheets and a 0.85 goals against average, while the Cardinal held the top spot in the national polls for five weeks throughout the season.
Bank had a career year offensively, posting new career-highs in goals (4), points (13), shots (41), and shots on goal (13). The Bakersfield, Calif., started every game for the Cardinal this season, extending a streak of 60 consecutive starts to close out his collegiate career. Bank collects first All-Region honor after previously being named a First Team All-ACC member earlier this season.
Bohane's Second Team nod is the third All-Region honor of his career, after previously beinf named to the All-Region First Team in 2023 and 2024. Bohane was once again a cornerstone of the Cardinal offense, finishing second in both goals (5) and points (13), while also leading the Cardinal in shots (65), shots on goal (25), and game-winning goals (3).
