Stanford Releases 2026 Schedule

Stanford has announced its 2026 baseball schedule

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford’s Clarke and Elizabeth Nelson Director of Baseball, David Esquer, announced the 2026 Stanford baseball schedule – a slate that includes 32 home games from Sunken Diamond.

The current 52-game ledger features 28 contests against 2025 NCAA Tournament teams – including five games against 2025 College World Series qualifiers in Arizona, Oregon State and Louisville.

Preparing for its second season in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Stanford will play a pair of exhibition games this fall – welcoming San Jose State to the Farm on November 2 before traveling to Cal Poly on November 15.

The season will begin February 13 when the Cardinal travels to Surprise, Ariz. for the 2026 College Baseball Series. The three-day tournament will see Stanford open the year against Arizona before clashing with Michigan and Oregon State. Wrapping up a string of four games in four days, Stanford will travel to Grand Canyon for a Monday game against the Lopes on February 16.

The Cardinal will continue a long-standing tradition of playing Cal State Fullerton in the early weekends of the season, hosting the Titans for a four-game home-opening series running February 20-23.

Stanford will step out of regular-season play with an exhibition against Japan’s Waseda University on Wednesday, February 25, before welcoming 2025 NCAA Tournament qualifier Fresno State for three games spanning February 27 through March 1. A nine-game homestand ends one day later when the Cardinal hosts Nevada in the final nonconference tune-up before the start of ACC play.

The conference slate begins March 6 on the road at 2025 NCAA Tournament qualifier Wake Forest before the Cardinal returns home to host Pittsburgh (March 13-15) and Utah Valley (March 21-23) in back-to-back weekends. The series against Utah Valley, the 2025 WAC Tournament champion, is scheduled to feature a doubleheader on Sunday, March 22.

A three-game ACC series at Virginia Tech from March 27-29 will be followed by a midweek game against San Jose State on April 1. The Cardinal will then host 2025 NCAA Tournament qualifier Clemson for three on The Farm from April 3-5.

Stanford will also welcome Miami (April 17-19), Florida State (April 24-26) and NC State (May 8-10) in ACC play. Miami and Florida State both reached the Super Regional round last year, while NC State fell in the Regional final against Auburn a year ago.

In addition to the sets at Wake Forest and Virginia Tech, road conference series will include 2025 College World Series participant Louisville (April 10-12), Notre Dame (May 1-3), and California (May 14-16).

On top of games against Nevada and San Jose State, the Cardinal has secured home midweek games against Santa Clara (April 15), UC Davis (April 27) San Francisco (May 6) and Saint Mary’s (May 12), while playing on the road at Santa Clara on April 21. The Gaels won the West Coast Conference tournament a year ago to advance to the NCAA Tournament.

The ACC Tournament, featuring all 16 conference squads, is scheduled for May 19-24 at Truist Field in Charlotte, N.C.
