STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford women's swimming and diving won its fourth straight Pac-12 Championship and extended its win streak to 37 consecutive dual meet wins during a successful 2019-2020 campaign that was cut short due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

» Stanford was seeking its fourth consecutive NCAA title before the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. The last time a school won four NCAA titles in a row was Stanford's stretch of five in a row from 1992-1996.
» Stanford qualified 15 swimmers and three divers for NCAA Championships. The Cardinal's 15 swimmers was tied with Virginia for the most by a team.

Pac-12 Four-Peat
» Stanford claimed its fourth straight Pac-12 Championship crown in 2020. Stanford is the only Pac-12 school to win four consecutive Conference titles. Stanford last did so when it won the first 13 conference meets (1987-99).
» The Cardinal won eight of 21 events: 400-yard IM (Forde), 100 breaststroke (Raab), 1,650 freestyle (Tankersley), 200 backstroke (Voss), 200 breast (Forde), platform diving (Paulsen), 3M diving (Sculti), and the 200 medley relay (Nordmann, Raab, Wheal, Goeders).

» Diver Mia Paulsen was named Diver of the Meet after winning back-to-back championships in platform diving.

» Stanford has won five Pac-12 titles under Paul A. Violich Director of Women's Swimming Greg Meehan, and has never finished lower than second in his first eight seasons. The Cardinal also extended its streak to 11 straight seasons in the top two at the conference meet (seven titles, four runner-up finishes). This is Stanford's 23rd conference title, the most all-time.

» The Cardinal finished the regular season undefeated for the fifth straight year.
» Seniors Megan Byrnes, Katie Drabot, Brooke Stenstrom, Allie Szekely and Erin Voss finished their careers with a perfect 28-0 record.

» Emma Wheal was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year after an impressive first year on The Farm. At Pac-12 Championships, Wheal recorded the most points (104.5) of any freshman and finished 12th overall. She was a member of the championship-winning 200-yard medley relay team and set personal bests in the 50 free (22.26), 100 free (49.11), and 100 butterfly (52.16). Her time in the 100 fly was a Stanford season-best and qualified her for the event at NCAA's. She is the sixth straight swimmer from Stanford to win Pac-12's Freshman of the Year award, and the Cardinal's 10th recipient in school history.
» Mia Paulsen named Pac-12 Diver of the Year after repeating her Pac-12 Championship in platform and qualifying for NCAA Championships in platform, 1-meter and 3-meter. At Zone E Championships, Paulsen finished in first place in platform with a score of 586.60, fourth in 1-meter (589.35) and 10th in 3-meter (573.60).
» Patrick Jeffrey was named Pac-12 Diving Coach of the Year. During his six-year tenure, Patrick Jeffrey has been honored four times as Pac-12 Diving Coach of the Year award, winning twice as the women's top coach (2016, 2020) and twice as the men's top coach (2015, 2019). Under Jeffrey, three women's divers qualified for multiple NCAA events in 2020 and Paulsen won the Pac-12 championship in platform.
» Senior Erin Voss was named Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year for her excellence both athletically and academically. A computer science major from Northampton, Mass., Voss holds a 4.0 GPA. She is a team captain and was a member of three NCAA Championship teams and three Pac-12 Championship teams. Voss is a three-time All-American in the 100-yard backstroke, two-time member of the Pac-12 All-Academic first team, and has earned CSCAA Scholar All-America honors three times.
