Below are some important NCAA rules and guidelines for interested attendees to keep in mind for the Open House:
NCAA RULES
(Note that this is just a summary of the rules. Please pay close attention to the ability or inability to return emails and/or phone calls)
September 1 (beginning of your junior year of high school) is when college coaches can begin sending mail, emails, texts, and make phone calls to a prospective student-athlete or their parent/guardian. Coaches are prohibited from making face-to-face contact off campus.
** However, NCAA rules allow anyone to visit a university and speak with the coach on their campus. Therefore anyone can attend the Open House. And you are allowed to call us at any time.
July 1 (after completion of your junior year) is when college coaches can speak with a prospective student-athlete or their parent/guardian by in person off campus.
In Summary: For 2018 and 2019 graduates, due to NCAA rules we are not allowed to contact you once you register therefore we will see you on April 10th. You can contact us by phone and if we pick up we will be able to talk with you. However, if we are out of the office and you leave a message we cannot return your call, so keep trying.
