| A two-time All-Pac-8 selection as an inside linebacker, Don Parish earned first team All-American honors by the Associated Press, The Sporting News, and Time Magazine. In 1968 and ’69, Parish was one of Stanford’s top defensive performers leading the team in tackles both years (143 in ’68, 141 in ’69) and was the recipient of the Pop Warner Trophy in 1969 awarded to the top senior football player on the Pacific Coast. Selected in the fourth round of the 1970 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, Parish spent three seasons in the NFL. | |||||||||
