Wells had four kickoff returns today for 75 yards, giving him 635 yards this season, breaking the previous mark of 603 set in 1980 by Vincent White.Wells also set school records for most kickoff returns in a season with 32 (previous record 29, Vincent White, 1980) and most career kickoff returns with 77 (previous record 73, Damon Dunn, 1994-96).Senior RB Kerry Carter became the seventh player in Stanford history to rush for 2,000 or more career yards on a 37-yard run midway through the fourth quarter.
